In memory of Lorraine Marie Rice 28/10/2011
You were there if I should stumble
To catch me should I fall
A shoulder there to cry on
In answer to my call.
While others sit in judgement on me
And pass sentence whilst still untried
You extend the hand of friendship
And stand steadfast at my side,
To offer help and sympathy
The greatest gifts of all.
If there was a time that I need you
I only have but to ask
And you are quick to guide me
To prove me equal to the task.
When the day comes for parting,
Or if my world should end
I'll be glad that I have known you
And even prouder to call you FRIEND.
Marie loved country music and tuned into me for almost 25 years. Deep condolences to her husband of 50 years, John. He is not the only one who will miss Marie.
